Third day of drawing but second day of lessons (first day was a pre-test drawing). Tonight’s lesson expanded on the sphere and use of shading, but using overlapping spheres to introduce 3 Laws of Drawing.
3 Laws learned tonight, plus one theorem:
- Size – draw objects LARGER to make then seem closer, smaller to make then look farther away
- Placement – draw objects lower on paper to make look closer, higher to make farther away
- Overlapping – draw objects in front of or partial block to make closer, behind to make farther away
- Nook and cranny shadowing – separate, define and identify objects

So how did I do?
